This ring is a depiction of the struggle between expectation and reality. Control and acceptance. Rough and textured versus polished and refined. 

A solid recycled sterling silver band is half textured showcasing the seam from the casting process, and half polished to a high shine. A natural blue sapphire is cast-in-place where dualities meet.
