Merlin Metal Jewellery features slow made, one of a kind pieces by me, Lauren, a self-taught jeweller! Hi! Made in my Wortley Village home studio in London, Ontario, each piece is handcrafted using ancient lost wax and sand casting techniques. 

I love experimenting with organic designs, and find deep inspiration in nature and her beautiful array of colours, textures, shapes and seasons!

Each piece is meticulously crafted as a wearable modern heirloom of solid sterling silver (and solid bronze very soon!) and carefully sourced, ethical gemstones.

My connection to jewellery began at a young age, when my mum gifted me my first ring. This ring became a talisman for me during a time when my little brain started experiencing the beginnings of a lifelong anxiety disorder, and jewellery forever took on a greater meaning. Wearing jewellery became a daily ritual of connection and comfort. I could look at my ring, think of my mum, and know that everything would be okay. 

 It is with this backstory in mind that I created Merlin Metal Jewellery. My pieces are here to help you feel grounded in yourself and foster connection to those you care about, to be a part of your life story. It is less about how they can match an outfit, and much more about how they can make you FEEL.
